In the last 15 years of working in Latvia we have seen hundreds of lives transformed. Here are a few of the stories.

Jena's Story

We first met Jena when she was 11, through another family we were working with.  It became clear to us straight away that here was a young girl with amazing potential; who if given a chance, could build a better life for herself and her family. Ten years later Jena is just about to finish school and is considering the options for her future.

Lesja’s story

Growing up with 4 other people living in a single room that had no light, no heating, no water, and was barely 10 meters by 4 meters in size is a harsh start to life. Yet Lesja has grown into is a young lady who is transforming the lives of the people in her community. As a trainee primary school teacher and the director of a youth organisation that works with 100 children, Lesja is a shining example of someone who has been empowered to change her world
