Safe, clean and warm accommodation is vital to people’s welfare. We are committed to advocating on behalf of families to the government agencies and supporting them to ensure they have access to suitable housing.
We have a vision for a housing initiative which will provide individual accommodation for 30 families. These houses located above business units will provide families with a facility in which to run their own business; generating income to help them become self sufficient. The aim is that these are transitory houses, as soon as the family is able to become self sufficient they will move into other accommodation.
In the past this project has been called Isaiah House, however as a result the global economic crisis with increasing building costs and falling land values, we have put this initiative on hold. The vision to enable families to become self sufficient and live in safe, clean and warm housing still lives on through our current work.
