Equipping people with the right education and skills is vital if they are to integrate into society. Growing up in poverty has meant that many people are leaving, or have left school without completing education. Through helping families to pay for school materials and giving young people a sense of purpose, we can help them to complete school and educational courses which unlocks a very different future. This is a key step in breaking the cycle of poverty.
Each year we make grants to young people who have the desire and necessary grades to go to university but who lack the money to be able to pay the course fees, transport and course materials.
We are also committed to providing funding for practical training courses such as mechanics courses or hair dressing.
